Initial format used by specialized software preparing programs for cutting systems is GERBER.
If you have possibility to prepare initial data in GERBER (or CAM350) format by yourself, you will make the process associated with its conversion from other CAD systems much easier.
In addition, this will greatly decrease the risk of errors related to project scale misfit for different units in CAD systems, and data loss of stencil apertures in different layers of base project.
If your project is made in PCAD 4.5, PCAD 8.5, OrCAD, Protel or it needs additional corrections, we are definitely send you prepared GERBER file for stencil cutting with a link to a viewer program for your confirmation. You should check a some number of parameters in this file and send us reply with confirmation about correct preparation of project for cutting.
All this processes takes time and in most cases mistakes appearance is not excluded at the file preparation step. We already welcome preparation of GERBER file by yourself and sending it to us at ordering. Because GERBER format is understood by equipment, orders prepared in it will go to production immediately. Plus, this format itself eliminates mistakes related to apertures scale, their offset along the stencil, correct orientation and data loss during conversion.
What should be done with files while sending an order?
Fiducials and text engraving are always made on the side from which laser cuts the material and where apertures have largest sizes. We mark this side by special label because this side should be applied to PCB.
Everything else depends only on file preparation concept; therefore, it should be described in detail.
The stencil can be made whether for TOP or for BOTTOM PCB side.

In this case, please just notice in the order form or ordering page on the site that you need a stencil for BOTTOM side of PCB.
No modifications (mirroring, rotation of entire PCB) is needed for the bottom PCB side, otherwise it can cause a processing fault .
What do we do with processing of your order in this case?
Our engineer mirrors the entire aperture layer of the BOTTOM side in order to ensure data compatibility with the machine data preparation program.
However, if you would like to prepare data in GERBER format by yourself, you should make sure to do the same, otherwise the stencil will not match PCB or fiducials and engraving will appear on the opposite side of the stencil. In this case just order stencil like for TOP side.
